Each day brings us one step closer to the Arts Celebration 2012 “The Master’s Revue”!  The students are beyond excited, giving 100+% in preparation, parent volunteers are helping us prepare, props are being designed, etc. etc. etc.  We are loving every minute of it!  We will be having a parents meeting closer to the date of the event to share all the important details with you and answer all of your questions.

TICKETS are available for purchase beginning Tuesday, May 1^st – 10:00 AM at the Clay Center Box office.

You may purchase your tickets at the Clay Center, call the box office or order online.

All tickets are reserved and sold on a first come first serve basis.  $15 per ticket.

We are asking each family to make every effort to sell 10 tickets.  This will fill the auditorium, giving the students a large audience, and helping us cover the cost of giving the students the opportunity to exhibit their skills and talent in an excellence venue.

I want to thank you in advance for the wonderful year that we have had!  We have the most amazing students and families!  It has been a blessing to get to know the new family members who joined us last fall and continue our relationship with the returning students.

Arts in Action was recently awarded $500 in grants for instruments that will be used for education and performance in the Thunder Percussion Program. Putnam County Rotary donated $250 for this project which was matched by District 7550 with a district Simplified Grant (DSG). This year alone more than 75 students will use these instruments to study the art of drumming. These instruments will be used for years to come, impacting the lives of students through the arts. Arts in Action is a 501 ( c) (3) non-profit organization dedicated to performing and visual arts education for students of all race, religion and economic status.
