To all Arts in Action Families, Friends and Supporters,
Wow! Amazing! Wonderful! Glorious! Exciting!…Are just a few words describing the atmosphere here at Arts in Action. What can you find on a typical night at Arts in Action?…Baby Ballerinas spinning on their tiny toes in Studio C, Prima Ballerinas dancing on Pointe in Studio A, while Holy Hip Hop dancers learn knee spins in Studio B. Spirit in Action Cheerleaders learning new cheer technique and tumbling while students study piano, voice or drums in the music room. In the art studio you will find students creating original works of art in a variety of methods while drama enthusiasts study acting and theater in Studio C. Add lyrical, tap, jazz and tumbling for tots in the mix and you can imagine the awe-inspiring sounds emitting from the studios.
It doesn’t stop there…the dressing room is filled with teens doing homework, making new friends and having a bite of dinner before their next class. The waiting room is packed with wonderful parents and grandparents in fellowship and because we do not have enough room in the waiting area, on many nights the parents line the halls while waiting for the children to finish class. The front desk is busy with students buying snacks or water from the concession, all while talking excitedly about what they just learned. When the sounds from every area of Arts in Action come together it is breath-taking and a treasure. I breathe a prayer of thanksgiving to our Lord who has made it all possible
Arts in Action is growing by leaps and bounds. On behalf of the faculty, staff and board of directors, I want to welcome our new Arts in Action students and families and say welcome back to our returning students. We are thankful that you choose Arts in Action for your art education needs. We are passionate about helping our students discover their God given talent and develop it to their highest potential while giving all glory to our Lord.
